Director's Welcome to Camp Wildlife

Camp Wildlife promises an experience in nature like never before experienced by our campers Young people will have the opportunity not only to meet many of America's critters up close and personal, but also how to care for them, and the habitats in which we all live. Special guests could include programs such as Dollywood's "Birds of Prey" show, Channel 9's own Ben Roy of the Science Theater doing nature science shows, also special programs presented by Long Branch Exotics and the Rain Forest Critters, just to name a few. We are also excited to present our real Native American Village in which you will get to stay during your Camp Wildlife experience along with many of our native American friends, learning their culture and ways of our forefathers to America. Along with all these exiting things don't forget about the regular camp activities such as crafts, creek hikes, other water activities, horseback riding, and ending each day with our super FUNTASTIC campfire programs

Making lifelong friends forever both with animals and with other young people of like interest makes Camp Wildlife a memory of a lifetime.  Our staff are of the highest Christian moral values to be found in their field of expertise. I believe it is important to lead our young people in the most positive ways possible.  Also, our staff have been trained and certified in many areas of outdoor education--Project Wild, Project Learning Tree, Life Saving skills, and First Aid.

As your director, I've had the privilege of being Nature Director of two summer camp programs and designed and built two nature centers and their programs. Simply put, not only do I believe in the preservation of our wildlife and our habitats, but equally important is the preservation of our children of today, thus insuring the possibility of their tomorrow. Have a funtastic day
